In addition, if the components need high hardness values, such as the main blade for branch shears which requires 55-60 HRC, the #50/S50C/1050can be used but the brittleness is high. Therefore, the #50/S50C/1050 do not have any availability and the high carbon steel such as SK5 or 1095 should be utilized. Furthermore, another obvious disadvantage for #50/S50C/1050 utilization is the heat treatment is essential, resulting in longer processing time and higher cost
